Windy and snowing
On friday night I came home from work a little after 8pm and had a productive evening. I cleaned up the kitchen, vacummed the living room and put some laundry in. Then I sat down and picked up Guradian Angel. I put a couple hundred stitches in her, then I picked up Woodland Guardian and put a couple hundred stitches in it also. Then I crocheted about 1 and 1/2 rows on a baby blanket I had started.
I think I have finally got my stitching, knitting, crochet groove back on. On saturday I worked on Woodland Guardian, and I crocheted some more on the blanket. I have done the same today and plan on doing some more this evening. It feels good to be stitching and doing other needlework again. It has been so long since I actually did any. I hope it keeps up.

No Thanksgiving day or black friday shopping for me. I am not a huge fan of shopping as it is and through in all those crowd's and I am definately not a fan. No deal is worth it to me. Also the things that are really good deals they never have many of and I am not willing to go and wait hours in line, in the cold, waiting for a store to open hoping I can get what I want.
Happy shopping to those of you that do!

New Start
I started my first Hevan and Earth Design, Woodland Guardian - Anne Stokes.
I completed 200 stitches yesterday. I have no idea how long it took as I stitched a little, did somethings, stitched a little, did some things. Also I am just not a time tracker. I tried to do it at one time but, I am up and down so much between the dogs and doing other things it seemed like work to much to keep track. Since with HAED's you work a 10x10 area at a time and move on, or so that is the recommendation I figured I could keep track of how many stitch's I do each day.
I think my goal is going to be at least 100 per day on the days I work and 200 on the days I am off. We will see how that goes. I also have Morning Stretch - Ruth Tompson waiting. I bought the fabric for it but I think I'm going to try and just keep to Woodland Guardian, at least for now.
Off to make Buffalo Chicken Dip to take to work, and get ready for work.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Stuff
Well not so good, I'm in the hospital. Then he tells me it hurts to hold the phone to his ear and that they have arrived to feed him, call your brother to find out whats going on. Well that sets me into a panic.
We pay for my car and I head home to call my brother because the cell recpetion was not very good there. Of course on the drive home I'm thinking ok, im off work tomorrow and I can call off for sunday, and im off monday then we can play the rest by ear, thank goodness I did the laundry and I can throw some clothes in a bag and be on the road pretty quickly. I call my brother and he says on friday night dad fell stepping off a curb and broke his elbow. Ok less panic. He is in the hospital because a bone shifted and they have to refix it, and he can not do anything for himself. Mind you the man is 92 years old and lives alone, still golfs 18 holes, walks 9 and rides a cart for 9, and still drives.
So today my brother calls after I get home from work and he was back from the hospital visiting dad. The hospital did xrays today, one arm has a broken tibia and the other arm has a hairline fracture. No wonder he couldnt get himself up out of the chair or do anything! So he has surgery on tuesday to fix the bone that moved and put a pin or bolt or something in. He is going into rehab for about 6 weeks while he heals where he will be taken care of as someone has to be with him 24 hrs a day as he cant do anything for himself. His spirts are good my sister-in-law said.
These are the times I hate living in a different state, it is only about 4 hours away but it feels like much more at times like these.
