I finished pansies on friday night and Joy bellpull this morning. I'm pretty happy with what I have gotten accomplished so far this month. I showed Mike the bellpull and he said...are you going to be making more of those? Meaning ornaments for his family for xmas...he said he is sure they are expecting them as I have done it for the last 2 years. I was trying to do them all small framed pieces but not sure if that is going to work out as I have been knitting baby stuff pretty much constant this year so far. I do have a fun fur scarf I started on saturday night for his neices oldest daughter for xmas. That Im sure will be done before the end of the month and maybe 1 or 2 more ornies. I need to get the baby blanket done for rachael too. And the baby in a basket which I have not started. She is due toward the end of november. Well back to house cleaning for me.

Nothin specific

I have had a pretty productive day. I cleaned most of the kitchen, did some laundry and dusted and vac'd the livingroom. We also scrubed the large carpet we have outside infront of the gate. Helps to keep some of the mud out of the house from the dogs. I also copied a bunch of my favorite songs off of my cd's on to the computer so i can just hit shuffle on the media player and it just plays them.

I have tried to keep the tv off today. I get so much more done if its not on. I had it on for about 15 mins then thought what are you doing and switched it off.

I have also done some stitching on The Bouquet and plan to do some more when I get done on the computer. I am a little over 1/2 way done with it. I think I am going to finish it then go back to working on the baby anouncement for Mike's friend.

The puppies are doing good. We only have 5 left that have not found homes yet. I sure hope they do soon.

Wow long time

Once again it has been a very long time since I posted anything here. I am going to try and be more consistent with writing.

I have finished several projects since last writing. Baby in a Basket, 2 baby blankets, 1 pair of booties and a baby sweater. Yesterday I went to Mike's niece' baby shower. It was very nice. She got a lot of really nice gifts. She loved the sweater and booties. I took baby in a basket for Mike's sister to take and give her son and his girlfriend. Everyone that saw it raved about it. Marnie wants me to make one for Jana. She even offered to pay for it...but I told her no I don't want your money I will make her one.

I am sooo behind on xmas presents this year. I have one small cross stitch piece about 1/2 done. I was planning on making them all small pieces instead of ornaments but I may have to go back to ornies. There have just been to many baby's this year to knit for. And mike wants me to do a variation of baby in a basket for one of his teammates in backgammon. I really need him to stop coming up with projects for me to do. I have enough of my own I come up with. I have tho really been enjoying the knitting but I really want to get back to cross stitching.

The weather today is gorgeous. Nice breeze and sunny. I may go out on the porch later and do some stitching.

We had 20 puppies... we still have 5 waiting for homes.

We bought a blue female. Her name is Delilah. She is gorgeous and such a sweetie.

Summer is gone again and we did not really do a thing. Never went camping. Mike and Adam went fishing one day. And now it is football season. Adam is once again on the varsity and junior varsity so games on Friday night and Saturday mornings. Then when he comes to our house Saturday after the game all he wants to do is sleep.

Well I guess that is all for now. I really do have fun writing here. I just need to include it as part of my normal routine.

Catch Up

Again it has been a long time since my last post.

We have puppies again, 3 litters, 20 puppies total. 4 of them have deposits on so far.
I have been knitting for babies again. I am currently working on a baby blanket for Mickey's nephews girlfriend that is due the end of July. I made a pair of baby booties already for them. Also Mickey's neice is expecting in November so I will be knitting for her too. I have plenty of notice for hers and I am thinking of doing a christening set for her.

Cross stitch I am currently working on Bouquet from Passione Ricamo, I am about 1/2 way done. It will be a christmas present for someone. I think I am going to do small cross stitch pictures instead of ornaments for everyone this year, but we will see.

Our scanner is not working and it is driving me nuts. I tried deleting and reinstalling the software but instead of doing a uninstall I did it manually. They sent me to a link that told me how to supposedly fix it. I did what it said to do but of course it didnt work. Really need to get a digital camera would make pics of puppies and wips so much easier.

Im really bummed that msn gaming zone classic games are being done away with. I have been hosting backgammon there for about 5 years and really enjoy it. Heck playing in a backgammon tourney there is where I met Mickey. We have a new site to go to but it just is not the same.

Well guess I should get off here and get some stuff done around the house so I can stitch and knit.
